Homo Faber Guide is an online platform dedicated to artistic craftsmanship that allows visitors to discover artisans and their masterpieces, explore museums, visit museums, galleries and ateliers selling unique handmade objects, and enjoy experiences in cities across the world.
The Guide is a brainchild of the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship, an international non-profit organisation that celebrates and preserves master craftsmanship and strengthens its connection to the worlds of design, hospitality and the wider arts. It is named after a beacon in this field, Michelangelo, a visionary artist and master artisan who embodied both creativity and craftsmanship at the highest level of excellence.
As a contributor from the Balkans, I map and interview artisans and museums, galleries and ateliers’ owners in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro and write texts for their profiles in the Guide.
